Hip Raise Straight Leg

The Straight Leg Hip Raise is an effective exercise for targeting the lower abdominal muscles and improving core strength and stability. To perform this exercise, lie on your back with your legs extended straight up toward the ceiling, perpendicular to the floor. Place your hands palms down on the ground or under your hips for support. Engage your core muscles and lift your hips off the ground, pressing your lower back into the floor. Raise your legs toward the ceiling, lifting your hips as high as possible while keeping your legs straight. Lower your hips back down with control to return to the starting position. Focus on using your lower abdominals to lift your hips and avoid arching your back. This exercise helps to strengthen the lower abdominal muscles, improve core stability, and enhance overall lower body strength and control. Adjust the intensity by modifying the range of motion and incorporating variations to challenge different muscle groups effectively.
